Looking To Join The Aquanauts
A Simple Trial The first step to joining the club is to have a trial; this isn't as bad as it sounds! Basically you join in on a swimming session with our Fins squad, usually on a Friday evening or Sunday afternoon. The coach will put you through your paces and place you in the appropriate squad be it Tank 1, Tank 2, Tank 3 or Fins. Older more experienced swimmers may go straight to Super Fins or even above! Once you have been allocated a squad there are some forms to fill out, you can down load these below: 1. Registration and Annual Consent Form: this needs to be completed annually by all members, as well as by new swimmers when joining. 2. SASA Registration Form: all club members from Fins upward must be members of the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association. 3. Standing Order Mandate: it is often more convenient to pay fees by standing order, it also helps with the club administration. Remember with a standing order you are always in control, and you can cancel them at any time.
